- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations across key balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and aligned with internal controls.
- Assist with preparation of internal financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management review.
- Review bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other recurring accounting schedules.
- Support interdepartmental coordination on coding, approvals, invoice processing, and accounting documentation.
- Help monitor compliance with accounting policies, internal procedures, and reporting timelines.
- Assist with external audit requests and preparation of supporting schedules and reconciled documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen controls, and support efficient finance operations.
- Provide ad hoc accounting and reporting support as required by finance leadership and broader studio operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong professional accounting experience in a corporate, production, media, or fast-paced business environment.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting principles.
- High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and reporting cycles with consistency and professionalism.
