Little Schmidt Productions is a creative studio working across film, television, and digital storytelling. We develop audience-focused concepts, campaigns, and narrative experiences designed to connect strong ideas with culture, craft, and commercial impact.
Our production assets and archives team supports the organisation, preservation, tracking, and accessibility of creative and production materials across the studio. We value order, accuracy, documentation discipline, and a thoughtful approach to maintaining important assets throughout the life of a project.
Our internship programme offers practical exposure to a professional studio environment where emerging talent can contribute to active archival and asset-management workflows while gaining hands-on experience in cataloguing, file organisation, records support, and production-related documentation.

- Contribute to archive research and retrieval requests by helping identify and organise relevant project materials.
- Assist with preparing internal records, inventory updates, and asset summaries for team reference.
- Help maintain order and consistency across stored production materials, folders, databases, and shared drives.
- Support the preservation of project documentation by ensuring records are complete, labelled clearly, and stored appropriately.
- Attend team meetings and help capture notes, action items, and follow-up points related to asset-management workflows.
- Assist with quality checks on organised files, archive references, and supporting documentation.
- Provide general day-to-day support to the production assets and archives team during active project cycles.
Requirements
- Strong interest in production operations, archival work, media organisation, and documentation practices.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working with files, records, spreadsheets, folders, metadata, and internal reference systems.

- Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Confidence working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Interest in how production assets are maintained, preserved, and accessed across a studio’s lifecycle.
- Professional approach to record keeping, organisation, and internal coordination.
- Familiarity with digital asset management, archive workflows, or administrative tracking is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous academic, internship, or project experience related to archives, records management, library systems, production support, or media operations.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, databases, shared drives, and structured organisational systems.
