Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for Paper Girls, a time-travel adventure series where Ali Wong takes on the unique role of meeting her younger self. Adapted from the acclaimed graphic novel by Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang, the series combines science fiction, coming-of-age drama, and emotional storytelling.

Paper Girls follows four young newspaper delivery girls in the late 1980s who are unexpectedly swept into a conflict between warring time travellers. Thrown into the future, they come face to face with their adult selves, forcing them to grapple with the choices that shape their lives. Wong’s character delivers one of the most intriguing arcs, as she confronts her past while navigating a reality where time itself is under threat.

With its mix of heart, mystery, and sci-fi twists, Paper Girls offers a fresh take on the genre, exploring friendship, identity, and destiny through the lens of an extraordinary adventure.
