Prime Video has released the first look at Paper Girls, an upcoming TV series that blends 1980s nostalgia with a thrilling time-travel adventure. Based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang, the show introduces four newspaper delivery girls whose lives change forever after a mysterious encounter on Halloween night in 1988.

The group suddenly finds themselves caught in a conflict between warring time travellers, propelling them into the future where they come face-to-face with their older selves. The story mixes sci-fi twists with heartfelt drama, exploring themes of identity, destiny, and the bonds of friendship.

With its retro setting, strong characters, and layered storytelling, Paper Girls aims to capture the same cultural spark that made hits like Stranger Things resonate with audiences. The first look hints at a series filled with adventure, mystery, and emotional depth, making it one of Prime Video’s most anticipated releases.
